Some seasons are more dangerous than others depending on where you are, if you are fishing on a boat, rock fishing or on an old pier you much always check the ensure that the wind blowing are not too strong, that the sea is calm and most importantly always look at your surroundings.

How to fish?

Picking a spot is very important before start fishing. The beginners should select an appropriate place, where they can find more fishes.  Check in the newspapers about local fishing spots and online reports. After finalizing the spot, always check the tide timing. Basically, the fish will fluctuate based on the lake or pond however the big sized fish will be more in deeper spot. Sunrise/Sunset is the best timing for fishing. The users are advised to not eat the fish if the area may be contaminated and always confirm the same with the authorities.

It is advised to buy the suitable Rod and Reel for fishing based on the spot. If the users are about to do fishing in small ponds then they should use the Medium-Length Pole. Use them as directed and buy the suitable fishing line and varieties of Hook. Before start fishing, tie the hook on line and attach the bobbers then bait the hook. Then the users should wait quietly for some time until the fish catches the hook. Once it caught the hook, the users need to pull the fish by lifting the rod and simultaneously need to reel. Then slowly release the hook and place the fish in the bag or just release it to the water.

Where to fish

There are many places one can fish when learning how to fish, for starters it is advisable to choose a place close to your home and preferable a popular fishing spot. Often other anglers are more than happy to assist or borrow you some tools if you need them, as a beginner this is very important. you can begin with some relatively cheap equipment when you are not sure how to fish yet. There is no need to invest hundreds of dollars just yet. My personal advise is to get some decent gear to see if you like this sports.

Go to your nearest lake, river, pier or fish farm, the choice is yours. However, always remember to be safe and be prepared.  If you place to go to fish off a pier, lake or river it is recommended that you bring a variety of medium weights, hooks and other equipment for the wide range of fishes you can catch.  If you are fishing from a pond( which is a great way to start) you can bring light to medium size gear and the kids too!! If you wish to have a better experience, book at your local fishing charter where you most likely need not buy or bring anything but just your wallet.
